He’s not one to share publicly, but ask Andy about his life and he’ll talk for hours about God’s grace and mercy. He’ll tell you story after story about how God has been at work in his life since the beginning, even in the midst of dark times. He could write a book about all the crazy things God has done and how God has shown up in his life. But he doesn’t stop at his own story! Andy is great at also reminding you to see how God has done crazy things and how God has shown up in your life too!
*How long have you been at The Remnant? What brought you to The Remnant?
I have been at The Remnant now for a little over 3 years. Originally it was a personal invite from a longtime friend, brother, mentor, and now pastor, Todd Blanton. What truly brought me to The Remnant for more than just a visit was the commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The burning passion and desire to love on the lost, hurting and disregarded that is the calling of this body of Jesus Christ.
*What is your current role at The Remnant?
I volunteer in the maintenance and childrens church teams.
*How is God speaking to you lately / what is God teaching you?
Right now God is really stretching me in a few areas. First in my commitment to being a disciplined disciple of Jesus Christ while striving daily to grow in my willingness to be holy. The second thing that God has really been teaching and speaking to me is the further stretching of my understanding of His faithfulness to those whom He has called. That His grace is beyond measure, and because of that extreme grace, He is always faithful to continue a good and great work in His disciples.
