Heaven is such a joy to know and be around! She is always smiling and laughing. Just like her name hints, when she is around you can feel God’s presence because she radiates the joy of the Lord! The Remnant truly wouldn’t be the same without Heaven and we can’t help but introduce you to her too!

*How long have you been at The Remnant? What brought you to The Remnant?

I’ve been at The Remnant for a little over a year now. I actually came with a friend and I never left!

*What makes The Remnant different?

The Remnant is different in many ways. They are accepting and caring. I come from an older generation, hymn book singing, watch what we talk about kind of church. The Remnant singing loud and proud. There is a good mix of generations and Pastor Todd isn’t afraid to bring up sensitive subjects. It’s very refreshing!

*How is God speaking to you lately? What is God teaching you?

I didn’t fully let go and give it all to God until about 8 months ago and since that day, my life has been refreshed. God has spoken to me in many ways. He is teaching me to be a better person. To speak His word wherever I go and reguardless of what anyone says. I used to be scared of what people would say. Now I’m not because I know He is by my side! He’s given me a strength I never knew I had and the courage to truly he myself.
