Sometimes people just have the spiritual gift of serving and it’s proven by the way they naturally see ways they can step up and fulfill needs. If you know him at all, you’d agree that Zeke is one of those people who has a servant’s heart! His passion for people and Jesus is evident by the way he actively and enthusiastically serves his church! And we can’t wait for you to know the man behind the smile more!

*What brought you to The Remnant?

When I initially started coming to The Remnant, just over 6 years ago, I was about 15 years old. So I just came because all of my friends were coming and I just wanted to to spend time with them. God used that to help me grow spiritually. I stayed with it for the truth that was preached and the community and fellowship that has always been so huge at The Remnant.

*What is your current role at The Remnant?

Currently, I am on our media, connections, children’s church, youth, grounds, and prayer team ministries. And I am beginning to lead our production team where we set up and prep for special services.

*How is God speaking to you lately / what is God teaching you?

God has been speaking to me and teaching me in a couple different areas.

The first would be hope and joy. Something that I thought I understood for a long time, but God is showing me that there is still so much to learn and what it means to truly live a joyful and hope-filled life. I’ve been living each day in the moment and not worrying or being anxious about the next day. And I’ve been working on trusting God that he has a plan and is doing what’s best for me, no matter what!

The second would be excellence. Doing everything to the best of my abilities every time and ensuring that everything I do, I do for the Lord. Living with excellence is important because everything I have has been given to me by God and he deserves my best. He is a loving and gracious Father and deserves the very best that I can offer!
